What is the CTLD Celebration of Faculty?
The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design works with amazing faculty year round. From course-development projects and the ACUE Effective Teaching Practices certification course, to Faculty Learning Communities and those who have completed the Proactive Accessibility Certification workshop series. These instructors are engaged in the hard work of improving their teaching, and we want to celebrate that hard work.
We invite these faculty, along with their chairs and deans, to celebrate this commitment to the students of MSU Denver.
A catered meal, collegial discussion and networking, and a digital poster session to highlight faculty work are included!
2023 CTLD Celebration of Faculty
Join us as we gather to Recognize the Following Folks (and more)
- Instructors who have finished the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE Effective Teaching Practices course. In this ACUE pinning ceremony, Department Chairs are invited to award ACUE pins on the newly certified instructors.
- Instructors who complete a course-development project in the last year, along with special recognition for two projects each from the Spring cycle and Fall cycle. This group is specifically recognized by the Instructional Design Group.
- CTLD Peer Associates and participants in Faculty Learning Communities and the New Faculty Institute from this past year.
- Faculty and staff who have completed the Proactive Accessibility Certification workshops.
